Albert Burrell passed on October 24, 2017.  He was the son of Wade and Effie Burrell.  He was born in Emporia, VA and attended Virginia Union University after which served in the military.  He retired from the United Parcel Service.  He was married to the beautiful Andris Burrell and from this union a lovely daughter Ardette Burrell Johnson and wonderful grandson C. A. Johnson were born.   Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home 518 N. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA.  Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 7, 11:00 AM at the Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 14 W. Duval St., Richmond, VA  Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery
