Obituary

On Monday, February 2, 2026, God dispatched His loving angels to peacefully escort the soul of Albert Goodall, Jr., affectionately known as "Boy Baby," to his heavenly home. He answered the Master's call surrounded by the love and comfort of his family at his bedside.

Albert's earthly journey began on December 26, 1967, when he was born to Albert Goodall, Sr. and Beatrice Bragg in Caroline County, Virginia. He received his education in Caroline County and was a proud graduate of Caroline County High School, Class of 1986.

At an early age, Albert joined Second Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he nurtured his faith and maintained a lifelong relationship with God and his church family.

Albert was employed by Orbit Logistics for 15 years, where he worked diligently as an Order Selector and served in several other positions. Known for his strong work ethic and dependability, he took pride in providing for his family and giving his best in all that he did.

Albert was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed cheering for his favorite team. In his leisure time, he loved drag racing and relaxing while watching Western movies. These simple pleasures brought him joy and peace.

Above all else, Albert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He cherished his children and grandchildren deeply and found great happiness in attending his grandson's football games every Saturday until his health no longer allowed him to do so. Although Albert was soft-spoken and humble, he also had a playful side and was known for his jokes and ability to make others laugh. His compassion, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him.

Albert leaves to cherish his precious memory his beloved wife, Shermel Goodall; one loving daughter, Jada Morris; two sons, J-uan Morris and Jesse Morris; and five grandchildren, Legacy, Zuri, Laylah, Queen, and My'sohn Morris.

He is also survived by his loving parents, Beatrice Bragg and Albert (Barbara) Goodall; three sisters, Antoinette (Jeffrey) Goodall, Masonda Baylor, and Alvita Harris; two brothers, Calvin (Nita) Goodall and Arvel (Marcie) Goodall; mother-in-law, Mary (Melvin) Johnson; three sisters-in-law, Verline Hunter, Georgianna (Lewis) Tillman, and Rosalyn Baylor; two brothers-in-law, Conie Hunter and Walter Hunter; godson, Shaquan Morris; one aunt, Sarah Johnson; one great-aunt, Eloise Romaine; one uncle, Clarence Fells, Jr.; four nieces; nine nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends, amongst them, devoted friend, Lewis Tillman.

Albert will forever be remembered for his loving heart, his loyalty to family, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. Though he has been called home to rest, his legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
