Alberta
Fallie
June 2, 1931 – October 21, 2025
Our Beloved mother, Alberta Mason Fallie, "The Matriarch," was a Woman of God, a Mother of distinction, and a Mother in Zion. She was born June 2, 1931, in Hanover County, Virginia. She peacefully entered eternal rest on October 21, 2025, at 9:54 p.m., at the age of 94 years, five months, and 19 days.
Our Beloved Mother Fallie was one of two children of the late Frank and Blanch Mason. Her mother passed when she was just a little girl. Though her early years were marked by loss, she grew into a woman of extraordinary strength, love, faith, and grace.
On September 16, 1950, Mother Fallie joined in Holy Matrimony with the love of her life, Elder Floyd G. Fallie, beginning a beautiful and inseparable union that bridged 71 years. Together, they built a legacy of love and family, raising eight children — Floyd, Cynthia, Doris, Mary (preceded her in death in 2023), Lazarus (2012), Carolyn, Frederick (2013), and Marloe (Blossom).
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Mother retired from A.H. Robins Company after 30 years of service. Following her retirement, her heart and hands were devoted to caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren — each of whom she loved deeply and saw before she departed this life. Her home was always open, her heart and her table always full, and her love always abundant.
In 1989, Mother Fallie joined COOLJC Refuge Sandston, where she received the Holy Ghost and faithfully served in Women's Council, as a Senior Choir member and a Missionary. In 2016 she transferred her membership to Community COOLJC. Her passion for ministry and fellowship led her to attend countless COOLJC Holy Convocations, the last of which she joyfully participated in 2019 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mother Alberta Fallie lived as a true servant of God — steadfast, humble, and unwavering in her trust in God and her love toward her family, her grands, great grands, and others until the very end.
Known for her radiant spirit, wise counsel, and boundless compassion, Mother Fallie embodied the very essence of love, strength, and kindness. She never complained, no matter her circumstances, and her faith remained her anchor. Her words uplifted, her wisdom guided, and her presence comforted all who knew her.
Our beloved mother and father's legacy lives on through their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Nine grandsons: Stephawn Banks (Linda), Rico Banks, Vincent Dennis, Lazarus Fallie Jr, Spain Fallie (Jasmine), Joshua Marks, Andre Banks, Kaleb Fallie, and Elon Fallie. Three granddaughters: Natisha Austin, Paris Crawford (Pierre), and Lauren Marks. Ten great granddaughters: Saniya, Makayla, Karlei, Nyla, Korrie, Ivy, Teionna, Shaniya, Reionna, and Sinai. Ten great grandsons: Jaylen, Cameron, Roman, Isaiah, Kai, Mason, Michael, Makai, Samari, Zaire, and Taj. In addition to all those whose lives she touched with her generosity, grace, and love. Special thanks to her devoted care giver, Charlene Blake and to hospice nurses Calvin and Pranee.
She lived a long, beautiful life — one rooted in faith, family, and service — and leaves behind a lasting example of what it means to love, to care and to walk with God.
