Aliyah Denise Henderson, 19, of Stafford, Va. tragically lost her life to gun violence on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Aliyah was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and loyal friend.

Aliyah possessed creative talents in the areas of dance, make-up artistry, cosmetology, and nail art.  She was self-taught and trained by those in the industry. Often she would seek out knowledge to further build her skills and excel in her craft. She aspired to be a professional cosmetologist in the entertainment industry. Aliyah dared to be different and boldly embraced this path into adulthood.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a precious 13-month old son, Khalil Clarke, her loving and supportive parents, Vincent and Karen Henderson, a sister, Kaylah Henderson, her maternal grandfather, William Wilson, Jr., maternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Wilson, an uncle, Derrick Wilson (Tonia), an aunt, Denise Williams Leonard,  two first cousins, Brianna and Jailyn Wilson, best friend Hailey Beidler, special friends, Nyssa Poland and Alexis Marie Wood, god parents Katrina Derricotte (affectionately called "Tee-Tee"), Joy Sturdivant, Matthew Miller and a large extended family known as her "village".

The family sincerely thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this very difficult time.
