Mitchell, Andrew S. "Tennie" 85, departed this life Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his home in Montpelier, VA. He was preceded in death by his parent, Ed and Eugie Mitchell; two sisters, Berthena Giles and Lillie Clarke and two brothers, Thomas "Ralph" and Ernest Mitchell. He is survived by two sisters, Alice L. Mitchell and Edna M. Jenkins; two devoted nephews, Roddy G. Mitchell (Jeanette) and Byron Jenkins (Terry); two sisters in law, Inez Mitchell and A. Elizabeth Mitchell; multi-generations of other nieces and nephews; and a host of other beloved relatives and friends. His remains rest at Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home 518 North Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA., where public viewing will be Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 11:00 am at Bethany Baptist Church, Montpelier, VA. Interment Roseland Memory Gardens. No repast.
