Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Anderson Chappell departed this life December 2, 2017.  Survivors include daughter, Yvonne Chappell of Chicago, IL; daughter-in-law, Gloria Chappell; 2 grandchildren, Hope Overby and Edward Chappell, III; 3 great grandchildren, Jazmane, Marquis, and Jayden Overby.  Half-brother, James R. Anderson, Jr., and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Highway where viewing will take place Thursday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.  A funeral service will be conducted Friday, 12 noon, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Doswell, Va.  Interment, Belmont Cemetery, Doswell, Va.
