Carolyn Renee Anderson was born on February 19, 1965 to the late Lunceford P. and Mary E. Robinson. She peacefully departed this life on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at home in Ruther Glen, Virginia where she resided with her daughter.
Carolyn accepted Christ as personal Savior at an early age at Mt. Oni Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, Virginia. She attended Caroline County Public Schools. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Sylvester E. Anderson on June 21, 1985. From this union bore her legacy of six children and five grandchildren.
Carolyn was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She loved to play BINGO, cards and board games with her family and friends. She was a faithful employee for many years with King William Public Schools, Cliff Weils and Comfort Inn. She worked at Comfort Inn until her health began to decline as a result of her diagnosis with Lupus.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her siblings Lunceford, Jr., Michael, Brenda, Linda and Randolph Robinson, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory six children Lashae Morris (Tony), Sylvester Robinson (Shockia), Jacqueline Anderson, Santana Anderson, Calvin Anderson, and Lunceford Robinson; five grandchildren Javionah Pollard, Alona Garrison, Amare Garrison, Valerie Robinson, and Asoujah Robinson; one goddaughter Zy'Kira Johnson; three sisters Sandra Robinson, Korita Roots (Aaron), and Christina Jackson (Marcus); one brother Lydell Robinson; seven devoted aunts Beaulah Clarke (Clyde), Edith Lee (Edward), Claretha Thornton, Clara James, Shirley Green, Carolyn Cobb (Eric), and Ethel Dabney; one uncle Phillip Robinson; devoted in-laws Carolyn O. Anderson, Alvin and Leonard Anderson; devoted caregiver LaJouna Morris; devoted friends Lewis Briggs, Blanche Morris, Carol Wills, Raschel Mickens, Joann Jones and Vernetta Johnson, a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Mt. Oni Baptist Church, 14135 Dry Bridge Road, Ruther Glen, VA.
