Catherine Irene Robinson, affectionately known as "Tootsie" was born March 2, 1933 to Emmitt Mines Sr. and Ida Mines of Doswell, VA. She professed her hope in Jesus Christ at an early age at Ebenezer Baptist Church and served as a missionary and a member of the senior choir.

She always kept herself busy tending to her flower garden, cooking and spending time with loved ones!

On September 7, 2022, Catherine passed away peacefully at home and entered eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her sweet memory her daughters Patricia Taylor, Angela Adair, and niece who she raised Jeanette Mines. In addition, four grandchildren, H. Michael (Tracey), Corey and Porsha Benford and Alison Knight; great grandson Aidan, and five siblings Emmitt Jr., Joseph, and James Mines, Ruth Braxton and Ida Anderson.

Catherine was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband James Bernard Robinson, three children, Perry, Regina and Asongia, and six siblings George, Curtis, Rufus, Johnny, William and Percy.
