Cathy Watkins, a beloved mother, grandmother, and best friend, was born on February 21, 1965, in Bronx, NY, to the late Joseph H. Watkins and Sarah C. Watkins. She resided in Mechanicsville, VA, and passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025.

Cathy lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure—cherishing every moment with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving sons, Trymaine Watkins (Ke'Andra Hooker-Watkins) and Tyrelle Watkins; her cherished grandchildren, Lanaye Watkins, Xavier Watkins, Tyrelle Watkins Jr., and Xilo Watkins; and her bonus grandson, Kamden Hooker.

Cathy also leaves behind her dear Aunt Arnetta and Uncle Emerson, lifelong friends, and a host of close cousins.

Cathy will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering generosity, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her radiant spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
