Cecilia Juanita Little, known to family as Juanita, passed away at her home on August 18, 2025. Born on September 13,1958, to the late Ronald Jackson and her surviving mother, Daisy Hazel Lewis.

Juanita was a devoted wife to Sidney Little, to whom she had been married to since October 31, 1996. Juanita graduated from Washington, D.C. High School.

For many years, Juanita worked as a secretary in the legislative offices of Washington, D.C. In this role, she was known for her meticulous organization, warm demeanor, and unwavering reliability.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney Little; her mother, Daisy Hazel Lewis; her aunts, Sally Jackson, Mattie Dyers, Irene Clark, Thelma (Donnell) Rose and Linda (Archie) Comfort; uncles, Howard (Artie) Jackson and Lester (Bernice) Jackson and a host of cousins, relatives and devoted friends.

She will be missed by her husband of 28 years, who loved her for the private person she was. Her private nature was her grace. She carried a warm gentle spirit that preferred the company of close friends and family,

Her mother deeply mourns the loss of her only daughter, who would come to spend weekends, even when she herself faced illness. Those visits brightened their days together as mother and daughter will always be remembered.
