Charles R. Harris, III (Bubba) entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his home in Caroline County, Virginia.

Charles grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He later moved to Caroline County where he met his wife, Valerie. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time outdoors.  He had many hunting tools and was a member of the D6 Hunt Club.  In his younger years, Charles served with the United States Air Force. He was also a firefighter and worked as a printer. He worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Richmond, Va. and was later employed at Kings Dominion where he worked for many years before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evelyn Harris Jr., and sons, Wayne Harris and Charles Harris, IV.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Valerie Mines Harris, daughters, Shannon Harris Morris and Orgia H. Jackson, stepson Marcus Mines (Shan), brothers, Harold Harris (Alberta) and Carlton Harris (Carol), sisters-in-law, Laura Johnson, Della Morris, Sarah Mines and Helen Tillman and a host of grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous family members, relatives and friends.
