Clarence L. Miles (Tootney) was born October 30, 1962 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Fannie Lee Miles; (Mother) He departed this life suddenly on August 14, 2014 at his residence in Glen Allen Virginia. Clarence graduated from Hermitage High School in Henrico, Virginia in the year of 1981. After graduation, Clarence started working for Ukrops Supermarkets, where he expanded his career there by attending J. Sargent Reynolds to become a certified butcher and continued with Ukrops Supermarkets for a total of 32 years. Then he became employed with Martin's Supermarket and lastly Kroger Supermarkets. He was a faithful employee at all three Supermarkets. Clarence (Tootney) delighted in classic cars, preparing meals, bowling, playing cards, being a bargain shopper, enjoying yard sales, the flea markets, being very, very neat and consuming a delicious meal. He is survived by his father: Clarence O. Clarke; Sisters: Roberta Miles El (James), Gertrude Lewis-Jackson (Wallace) and Shirley M. Waddy (Lawrence); Aunts: Dorothy M. Clarke, Viola Louise Tyler, Inez Mitchell and Viola Bradley; Uncles: Clyde Clarke and John Tyler and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who all loved Clarence very much. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother: Mary Frances Miles.
