Clarence Robinson was born on December 13, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia. He departed this life on June 1, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Clarence accepted Christ at an early age and carried his faith with him throughout his life.
He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1979 and spent many years working hard at LeeHy Paving, where he built friendships as strong as the roads he helped lay. Known to many as "Zeke" for his smooth, cool, and effortlessly charismatic presence, Clarence had a gift for connecting with people. He was a true Dallas Cowboys fan and he loved talking sports—especially the NBA—and he could spark a conversation out of anyone he met.
Clarence also enjoyed being outdoors. Whether he was cutting grass, raking leaves, or simply relaxing in his shed—affectionately known as the "Boom Boom Room"—he found peace and joy in being outside.
His happiest moments were spent with his wife, Loretta, and his children: Nikki, Sherrina (Brandon), and Tryvon (Linda). Becoming "PaPa" to Jalen, Khaled Jr., and Summer brought him tremendous joy and pride.
Clarence was raised in the Baptist faith and recently became active in his church's Men's Ministries, where he found purpose in serving others and being part of the fellowship.
He is survived by his mother, Reva "Babysis," his sister Amanda, his niece Brianna, his great-niece Serenity, and his great-nephew Sincere. He also leaves to cherish his uncle Joe, his aunt Ruth, and a host of cousins and friends, including his devoted long distance cousin Shirley, and his two favorite cousins, Evelyn and Ricky. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence, and his brother, Derwood.
Clarence will be remembered for his big heart, his easy smile, and the love he shared with everyone around him.
