Clifford Conway Mines transitioned from earth to his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at his residence. He was born on August 14, 1946, to the late Thomas Sr. and Bettie Mines.

Clifford was preceded in death by three sisters Cristine Mines, Glenda Mines, and Jean Chandler.

Clifford accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Second Mount Zion Baptist Church in Hanover, VA. He graduated from Union High School before starting his career at Friedman Mark and becoming an Industrial Contractor at Philip Morris. Clifford was an amazing person and a very generous giver. He enjoyed gardening and working out in the yard. Clifford loved the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.

His love and memories live on in all his family members, his daughter Felicia Boyd (Ricko); sisters Mamie Johnson and Gladys Goodall; brothers Thomas Mines, Jr. (Senora) and Alvin Mines (Elaine); aunts Mary Price, Mary Ann Smithers and Eloise Green; a host of nieces, nephews, devoted niece Wanda Burruss, and cousins.
