Clyde T. Clarke departed this life on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Clyde was born April 5, 1941, to the late Thomas and Alberta Clarke.  He accepted Christ at an early age at Bethany Baptist Church in Montpelier, Virginia. Clyde was later united in holy matrimony to Beulah Robinson.  To this union Clyde and Beulah welcomed their daughter Angela Clarke.  He was a faithful employee at Flippo Lumber Corporation until his retirement.

In his spare time, he enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows, Cops, Sanford and Son, Walker Texas Ranger and any western.  He was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Clyde is preceded in death by his daughter Angela Clarke Spurlock and siblings Jimmy, Garland, Lindbergh, Cardwell, Claude, Viola, Clarence and Inez.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 59 years, Beulah, son-in-law Maurice Spurlock, two grandchildren Maurice Spurlock Jr (Myeisha Mallory) and Jalisa Spurlock, two great grandchildren Jamyiah and Angel Spurlock, sister-in-law Clara James, brother-in-law Robert James and a host of nieces and nephews.
