Obituary

Cyndi Lou Brown , 54 went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert, Sr. and Myrtle P. Curtis.

Cyndi gave her  life to Christ at an early age and joined the St. James Baptist Church in Beaverdam, VA where she participated in many church activities, but her passion was singing on the Inspirational choir. We will forever remember her on the choir, singing and playing her tambourine.

She lived her life to the absolute fullest and touched the heart of any person she met with her infectious spirit.  Her love and laughter could fill a room.

Cyndi attended Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in Information Systems.

She was an employee of Toyota Credit Corporation before  transitioning to entrepreneurship as beauty  salon owner.

Her favorite color was red.  Her hobbies included singing, dancing, fine dining, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her dedicated daughter, Chelsea Brown, her grandson, Tru Ali Brown-Smith; her attentive partner, Vincent Taylor; her sisters, Barbie Curtis and Cynthia Smith; her cherished brother, Robert Curtis, Jr.; her aunts, loyal aunt Deaconess Edmonia Iverson and Mrs. Eleanor Phillips; uncles, Mr. Melvin Phillips (Mary) and steadfast uncle, Deacon Spencer Curtis, Sr; nieces, India Lowe, Zoe Curtis, and Cierra Smith; nephews, Meliq Lowe, Dominic Smith (Shaneice), and John Smith (Nicole); a great niece and great nephews and a host of devoted cousins, one admiring cousin, Tami Phillips and many good friends, one most caring friend, Mrs. Charlene Foxx-Lewis.
