Obituary

Dearl Ann Pollard transitioned to be with the Lord on April 21, 2026. She was born to the late Christopher and Ada Terrell, Sr. on June 8, 1953, in Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her brothers Frederick D. Terrell, Christopher C. Terrell, Jr., and Dwight E. Terrell and her devoted Aunt Addie Terrell.

Dearl Ann was raised in Caroline County and graduated from Union High School. She was a loving and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant and caregiver for over 30 years, working for different nursing and rehabilitation facilities and private duty. She was faithful in her work and loved helping and taking care of others.

Dearl Ann was a faithful member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Doswell, VA. She served on many ministries to include the Missionaries, Seniors in Action, Hospitality, the Usher Board (in which she was a former president), the Gospel Chorus (in which she also served formerly as president), along with several other choirs.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband Jesse Pollard; three sons, Leroy (Bug) Fairley, Kenneth Fairley (Towanda), and John (Johnny) Fairley; ten grandchildren, Kevanta Tompkins, Cayla Waller, Kanisha Randall, Dashaunna Anderson, Dasia Anderson, Tresean Mickens, Kenshawn Logan, Alicia Sarah Fairley, Shania Ann Fairley and Jayvion Fairley; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Walton of Lawrenceville, VA, Ertell "Peaches" Lee of Ruther Glen, VA and brother, Robert (Sketer) Terrell (Doris); sisters-in-law, Lynn Terrell, Dorothy Terrell, Julia Jackson (Ray), and Eunice Pollard; brother-in-law, Weldon Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, including devoted friends Thomas & Carolyn Green and Barbara Vanstienburg.
