On February 10, 1955 in Ruther Glen, Virginia, Dennis Wendell Bryant, became the first born of Ruth Virginia Bryant.  He departed this life and went home to be with his Lord on February 24, 2020 at Heritage Hall Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Tazewell, Va.

Dennis gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined Mount Oni Baptist Church where his maternal grandparents and mother were long-time members. He grew up participating faithfully in Sunday school, church programs, and ushering.

Dennis was a lifetime resident of Ruther Glen, VA and was educated in the Caroline County Public Schools. Upon graduation, he attended air traffic control school in Leesburg, VA.  He later became employed as a carpenter with Trojan Laborers, Century Concrete, and English Construction.  As a quiet, modest individual, Dennis especially enjoyed hunting, gardening, and watching sports.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted mother, Ruth Virginia Bryant, two dedicated uncles, Earl Chester Bryant (Jacqueline), Shelby O'Neil Bryant (Deborah), and a host of caring and loving cousins and friends.  Dennis will be missed by us all.
