Dwight Alexander Hunter entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2022.  He was born on July 3, 1945 to the late Phillip and Fannie Mae Hunter.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Stewart, Matthew and Tyrone Hunter; two sisters, Arlene Jones and Fannie Coles.

He leaves to cherish his memory; one son, Roderick Gaines; daughter in law, Penny Gaines; two grandchildren, Roderick, Jr. and Jordan Gaines; one devoted niece, Loretta Smith; one sister in law, Blondie Hunter; one brother in law, Allen Jones;  two Aunts, Lucille Hunter and Ruby Campbell (Walter); one nephew, Stewart Hunter, Jr.; four Godchildren, Darry, Derrick, Deitric and Doneka Edwards, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dwight will be missed by all who knew him.
