Earnestine Dabney Jones of Ashland VA peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 8, 2025, at the age of 90 years old. She was born on October 10,1934. Earnestine gave her life to Christ very early on and joined Providence Baptist Church until her passing. She served as a Deaconess and sung on the Senior Choir. To know Earnestine was to love her. She would tell you like it is but with love and honesty.

Earnestine was an amazing loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She took pride in her family and started her own tradition of calling all her family members for their birthdays every single year and sings the Happy Birthday Song if you did not answer she would put it on your voicemail to keep forever. She had a passion for cooking and telling everyone who would listen how much she loved God and how amazing he was she was real big on forgiving others in her words "Don't have a Stoney Heart". She was the biggest Steve Harvey and Michael Strahan Fan often calling them her boyfriends. Though she was 90 years old she would tell you if you ask her age "I'm 16".

She is survived by son Timothy Jones (IKisha); eight grandchildren; Rondelle Jones (Sharnita), Michelle Jones (Devoted), Dominique Jones (Ariana), Crystal Jones (Devoted), Christen Jones, Joseph Jones (Kayla), Christopher Banks, and Corey Banks (Amanda); seventeen great grands; Joseph Medina, Jeremiah Medina, Daeshawn Redford, Trevon Redford (Kandace), Mickelle Green, Marcquaysha Johnson, Eriyelle Cook, Ameena Jones, Sincere Jones, Alaysha Jones, Shaniya Jones, Sariah Jones, Izzy Spurlock, Arianna Banks, Takiyah Banks, Taniyah Banks, Andreah Banks.
