Edmond Sylvester Tillman, Jr., 71, of Ashland, departed this life December 2, 2017.  Survivors include his wife, Beulah Tillman; four children, Ricky (Gayle), Jabar (Lorrell), Lolita (Warren), and Marvin (Teresa); 11 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren; one devoted brother, John Goodall and loved like a son, Mervin (Marcella); a host of devoted sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Viewing will take place Friday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy, Ashland.  A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, 12 noon, Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Hanover.  Interment, church cemetery.
