On Friday, July 16, 2021, Ethel Robinson Dabney slipped into eternal rest after a short illness.

Ethel was born on July 27, 1947, in Caroline County, Virginia to the late John and Lessie Robinson.

She was the youngest of twelve children. She attended Dawn School after which she graduated from Union High School, Bowling Green, Virginia. She furthered her education at J. Sargent Reynolds where she studied accounting.

Ethel accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and joined the Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church faithfully serving as an Usher until her health began to fail.

She volunteered on the Frog Level Rescue Squad, along with the Reedy District Voting Precinct, enjoying the fact that she was giving back to her community.

Ethel held employment at Richfood and Supervalu for over 20 years. Being semi-retired living in Florida she worked at G.A.F. After retiring, she worked 13 seasons at Kings Dominion.

On August 12, 1966, she married Everett W. Dabney, to this union one beautiful daughter was born, named Kimberly.

Left to cherish her memories is one loving and devoted daughter Kimberly A. Dabney of Ruther Glen, VA; two devoted grandchildren Ebony Carey (Daryl) and Essence M. Wilkerson of Ruther Glen, VA; two loving great grandchildren Zyaire Carey and Zyah Carey; two devoted sisters Beulah R. Clark (Clyde) and Clara James; one devoted brother Phillip Robinson; one sister-in-law Amy Robinson; one brother-in-law Robert James; two god children Brandon Wingfield and Kaniyah Roots; a host of nieces, nephews, one devoted Korita Roots, three special friends Sandra Spady, Rebecca Wilson and Careal Davenport; one son-in-law Henry C. Wilkerson, Jr.
