Obituary

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

On the morning of May 5, 2026, God called another angel to take her eternal rest, Eva Lee Munn, affectionately called "Baby Doll." She transitioned peacefully at her home in Mechanicsville, VA.

Eva was born on July 4, 1938, in Hanover County, VA to the late Helen Allen Weatherless and James Lewis Weatherless and Herbert Doswell.

Eva was educated in the Hanover County Public School system. She was employed as a nanny for Elmo Cross, a caregiver at Martha Bullock Nursing Home, and in-home caregiver for Ms. Bertha Allen.

Eva accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at The Greater Nazarene Baptist Church on July 3, 1966, under the leadership of the late Rev. Elijah Hill. She served in various ministries — sang in the choir (served as secretary of the choir), kitchen committee, and served as an usher. She faithfully served in and out of the church and was loving and caring to all in need. She loved her family unconditionally to the end.

Eva was married in 1951 to Samuel Munn (deceased) and from this union one daughter was born.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, devoted daughter Brenda Reana Winston of Georgia; five grandchildren, Micheal Weatherless (Ebony) of Mechanicsville, Lorenzo Weatherless (Kim) of Georgia, Clayton J. Winston, Stacy Norris (Artemus), Tracy Curtis; nine loving great-grandchildren; one brother, Hosea Fox (Beverly); and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and relatives.

Eva's favorite scripture was Psalm 18:1-36 and one of her favorite songs was "How Long Has It Been."
