Georgia Bell Freeman, 102, of Ruther Glen, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her sons, Howard L. Carter and Joseph M. Carter. Surviving are her daughter Ruth L. Carter; two grandchildren Belinda Howell, and Michelle Carter; one great granddaughter Corrin Carter; two step-daughters Joyce Byrd (Leroy) and Mary Freeman (deceased); daughter-in-law, Barbara J. Carter and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Freeman was the oldest living member of Oxford Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was honored with the title "mother" of the church.

She will be missed by all.
