On February 23, 2022, Gladys Virginia Fox-King, peacefully entered eternal rest surrounded by her loving family at Memorial Regional Medical Center. Gladys affectionately known as "GiGi" was born on July 29, 1931, to the late Elijah and Mary Washington-Fox. She was the youngest daughter from this union.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Chestnut Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Gladys served the church in many capacities once being the church clerk and Superintendent of the Sunday School. She was a faithful member also serving on several committees to include the Missionary Ministry and Autumn Age Ministries to name a few.
