Helen Jones Dabney, daughter of the late Arthur Jones and Mary Frances Jones was born on April 27, 1927.  She departed this life on December 23, 2022.

She was educated at Virginia Randolph School. She joined St. Peter Baptist Church at an early age. She served on the Royal Usher Board and the Hospitality Committee. She was employed by Dankos Enterprises for many years.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William Dabney Sr., sons Brian Jones and Maurice Jones, brothers Arthur Jones Jr. and Willie Jones, and sister Marie Fenner.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son William Dabney Jr., granddaughter Sharice Williams (Domonic), great grandchildren Michael Anthony, Domonic, Nicola, and Jada Nicole; sister Mary A. Jenkins; sisters-in-law Magnolia Dabney and Phyllis Ragland; devoted nieces Debra Dabney and Nancy Harris (Jerry); a host of other relatives and friends.
