Henry Mitchell "Black" Braxton, Jr., 51, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Henry had a deep love for football and was an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Mitchell Braxton, Sr.; brother, Darron Mitchell Pleasants; and grandmothers, Sarah Elizabeth Winston and Lucille Walker.

Henry leaves to cherish his memory, two beloved daughters, Danasha B. Fitts (Howard) and Dashia M. Braxton; two sons, DeMario Lindey and DaQuan Harris; along with ten cherished grandchildren; devoted mother, Carolyn B. Robinson; three loving sisters, Charmayne Pleasants, Cindy Pleasants, and Rhonda Clarke; and one brother, Lorenzo Braxton. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends, including devoted loved ones, Stephanie Breaker, Rev. Patrice Jones, Keisha Bishop, Jermaine Straus, Tyree Straus, and Jason Toliver.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be given to the St. Luke Legacy Center Foundation, Inc.
