BRAXTON, Mr. Jack Ellis, Jr., 74, of Bowie, Md., and formerly of Caroline County, Va., passed away suddenly on December 20, 2016. His remains rest at HW Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005. Jack leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Gregory Braxton, Portsmouth, Va and Michael Braxton, Largo, Md; two grandsons, Marcus and Greg Jr.; two sisters, Mabel Smithers, Hanover, Va and Geneva Greene, Washington, DC; one aunt, Clara Fields; a faithful cousin Lucille Russell (Lamont); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
