Jacqueline Delores Battle was born on March 30, 1948 in Hanover County, Virginia to late Albert Harris Sr. and Sarah R. Harris. She departed this life on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the age of 73. She was proceeded in death by her brother, Muhammad Harrisuddin, her son James Battle Jr.  and four brother and sister in laws.

Jacqueline received her education in Hanover County at John M. Gandy School. She then pursued her career in nursing after graduating high school and owned three adult homes. Jaqueline accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined First Baptist Church in Elmont, Virginia where she attended on a regular basis. Then she later became a member of Everlasting Spirit International Ministries in which she loved attending.

On August 22, 1984 Jacqueline was joined in holy matrimony to James C. Battle Sr. whom she loved dearly.

Jacqueline loved shopping , cooking, vacationing, and making sure everyone has what they need.

Left to Cherish her memories are her husband, James; daughter Lakeysia Derricott (Pastor William Derricott Jr.); 5 Sons Darrick Hood Sr., Tony Hedgepath, Mario Battle (Terry), Ronnie Battle (Desiree)Terry Hedgepath (Toni); 15 Siblings Jean Winston (Milton), Ruth Williams, Janice Williams (Leroy), Sarah Ward (Maurice), Marshall Harris (Veronica), Joan Boyd (James) Lionel Harris, Gregory Harris, Shirley Scarborough (Robert Sr.), Frankie Harris (Janet).

Constance Lewis, Della Miller (David) Linda Scruggs, Oliver Harris, Kendra Coles (Joe Sr.); Eight Brother and Sister in laws; One Aunt Cora Bryant(Horace). twenty-four Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
