Jeffrey S. Jones, Sr. "Hawk/Pops", 63, went to celebrate with his loved ones, friends, and ancestors on March 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother Gertrude Jones, stepfather Matthew Jones, and maternal grandparents Iola and Richard Collins.

Jones attended Douglas Freeman High School and worked various jobs during his youth. He established a career, working for both A&P and Food Lion supermarkets, for over 20 years

Pops loved his kids, grandkids, and a good party with free-flowing drinks. He was always telling a story, making everyone laugh (mostly about the 80's). He really adored his beloved Green Bay Packers and George Clinton/Parliament Funkadelic. The "life of the party," he was always one to get up and dance, doing his signature "Shoulder Move".

Surviving are his children, Rochelle L.(Jason), Jeffrey S. Jr. ( LaTonya), Tracy R. (Emily) and Lashaun K. Jones; 3 grandchildren Marquis, Janiya, and Jayla Jones; his father Arthur Pollard; one brother Michael Jones (Denise); two sisters Thomasina Pollard-Morgan and Lisa Jones; his former wife Nadine Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The celebration of life will be held Saturday April 3, 2021 with viewing from 11 a.m - 1 p.m. and service beginning at 1. Rev. Jimmie Jackson, officiating.
