On Wednesday May 8th, 2024. John Leroy Harris of Montpelier, VA departed life to return to his heavenly father.

Our John received his wings but will be long remembered for being full of love and life. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School. John accepted the Lord at a young age. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and a friend to all. He always had a smile on his face.

He is preceded in death by his parents Andrew Grant Harris and Addie Rose Harris, his sister; Florence Ann Tyler, his brother; William Nelson Harris, and his nephew; Raymond Johnson Junior.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Latresa Renee Winston Harris, three brothers; Deacon Joseph Harris, David Harris, and Darryl Harris; Brother-in-law; Raymond Lee Johnson; Sister; Mary E. Johnson; Sister-in-law; Vanessa Harris and a host of devoted nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
