John "Roscoe" Wills, was born on May 27, 1939 to the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Adell Wills in King William, Virginia. He was proceeded in death by his two daughters, Brenda Spurlock and Janice L. Wills. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 26 years, Mrs. Ernestine V. Wills, ten sons, Corrania (Yolanda) and Allen Spurlock of King William County; James (LaTonya), Jeffrey, Norman, Rodney, Kim, and Christopher, of Richmond, Virginia; John (Pamela), and Avery (Alicia) of Chesterfield, Virginia; four daughters, Patricia Watkins (Herbert) and Pamela Wills of Richmond, Cheryl Spurlock of King William, and Joyce Copes of Chesterfield, Virginia; 66 grandchildren, two devoted, Dupree Mines and Andrea Wills; 36 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; 6 sisters, Geraldine Wills, Bessie Baylor (Raymond) and Jean Wright of Washington, D.C.; Yvonne Wills, Gloria Homes, and Clementine Wills, all of King William County; one brother, Robert G. Wills (Lillie); four brother-in-laws, Howard and Robert Spurlock (Gertrude), Elvin Spurlock (Gwendolyn), Percell Spurlock (Corliss); three sister-in-laws, Elsie Barner (James), Blanche Jackson (George), Shirley King (Bernard); two uncles, Samuel and Douglas Anderson of Ashland, Virginia, three aunts, Janet Edwards, Lorrine Green, and Elaine Anderson. A host of nieces and nephews, one devoted, Vanessa Wills, and other relatives and friends, two devoted, Lewis and Jane Pollard and one devoted daughter-in-law Yolanda Wills. Roscoe was a well-known and well-liked man all around the community. He was a family-oriented man, loving husband, father and grandfather. He made a home wherever he visited, and always welcomed people into his home. He was funny, kind, and very generous. Roscoe was a friend to many, and will truly be missed.
