Joseph Robinson peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2021. He was born on October 29, 1949 to the late Jordan Lee Robinson and the late Celia Winston Robinson. Joseph was also preceded in death by his brother Samuel Robinson.

Joseph accepted Christ at an early age at Abner Baptist Church. He attended the John M. Gandy School. He loved to talk, talking to anyone as long as they would listen.

Joseph worked at Holly Farm now known as Tyson Food for forty years until he retired on February 1, 2019. Joseph liked travelling and driving to the town of Ashland. He loved raising pigs and showing them at the market. He loved his cats, eating fried chicken, potato salad, and Lay's potato chips; those were his favorites.

After a lengthy illness with God calling him home, he leaves to cherish his memories two sisters Ida R. Derricott (Richard) and Helen White (Sam); nieces Juanita Lawrence (Tony), Tonya White, Sherita Hayes (Rev. Jaimal Hayes), Sherika Jones (Derrick), and a devoted niece Tracey D. Scott (Anthony); one nephew Richard E. Derricott, Jr.; caring and kind friends Octavia Phillips and Ellis Allen; a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.
