Obituary

Kathy Renee (Shang) Moore, daughter of the late George and Ellen Roane was born March 19, 1967, in King William County, Virginia. She received her formal education through the King William County Public School System, but no diploma was earned. Although her studies were not completed, she knew the value of education and therefore, had started the process to obtain her GED (General Equivalency Diploma). Kathy accepted Christ as her Savior with Mount Olive Baptist Church of King William, Virginia where she attended for many years before joining Faith Landmark Ministries of Richmond, Virginia, along with her husband and children. Kathy was employed in the Hanover County Public School System as a member of their Food Services Team. In her leisure, she enjoyed playing cards and bingo, attending church, and just sitting at her home engaging in fun-loving conversations. Kathy made it a priority to spend time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. In addition, she took great pleasure in helping people, especially the elderly. She was well-known for her beautiful personality, smile, and referring to everybody she knew and did not know as her "Boo." Kathy (Shang) will always hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends. Kathy Moore was truly blessed and during her time here on earth. she touched many lives in many different ways.
