Kevin Lynn Goode, 51, of N. Chesterfield, Va. passed away peacefully on October 15, 2022, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Henrico County, Va.

Kevin grew up in Henrico County and was a graduate of Hermitage High School. Kevin played sports year 'round and was a valued member of the JV and Varsity teams; a great athlete who helped win many championship games.  He has worked in construction for various companies as a foreman. Kevin loved fishing, traveling, and socializing with family and friends. He was a shining light full of joy and charm. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Rosa Goode and father, Alfred Jackson; brothers, Alfred Jackson, Jr. and Anthony K. Goode; maternal grandparents Victoria and Samuel Goode, and paternal grandparents Dorothy and Willie Jackson. He is survived by his sister Victoria Parrish, niece Shreeta Parrish, nephew Michael G. Parrish; aunts and uncles, Irene, Pat, Constella, Dorothy, Norman, Dennis, and Darius; and many cousins, all devoted and close since childhood.  Thanks to his huge circle of friends who he created memories with, including longtime devoted friends Wendy and J.T.

Kevin was a generous spirit who gave the gift of life through organ donation.
