On Wednesday, August 14 of 2024, Larine B. Thomas went on to glory to reunite with her mother Blanche Brown, husband Robert Charles Thomas Sr, son Robert Charles Thomas Jr. (Bob), sister Dorothy Mae Brown & her brother Harrison Brown. She is survived by her brothers Alexander Brown, Percy Brown, Preston Brown & Linwood Brown.  As well as her daughters,  Carnosiae Thomas, Shirley Thomas, Y'vette Venable & Alberta Thomas and a host of nieces , nephews, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Larine Thomas was the life of the party & a professional party thrower. Well known for her family gatherings which included the famous spades games. "50 cents won't do it. You need at least $50 to sit at this table." A teacher of spades, lover of cooking, traveling, elephants, flowers & a warm set of arms to hold anyone who needed it. Larine spent her early work years at Holly Farms & the majority of her life working as a nurse & caretaker. She worked caring for others on and off the clock until her body would no longer allow. This alone speaks volumes about her character. We can all go on for days recounting our warmest memories of our mother, grandmother, aunt & sister. Those memories are gifts that she left for us since God decided her work was done here.
