Larry Junius
Holman
October 3, 1948 – November 12, 2023
Larry Junius Holman was born October 3, 1948, in Ashland, VA to James Holman and Sallie Cash Holman. He grew up in Hanover County schools and was later drafted into the United States Army in 1967, where he served two years in the Vietnam war.
He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Providence Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as a Trustee, grounds keeper and was a member of the Men's choir, until his illness would not allow. Mr. Holman retired from Hanover County School District after which in his leisure time, he loved gardening, hunting, fishing, working on vehicles, and spending quality time with his family. He was also a faithful member of the WB Hunting Club. There was never a dull moment when he was around and always had a joke to tell to put a smile on your face. Mr. Holman had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could at the drop of a hat.
