Leonard Eugene Ferrell "Lenny", 62 of Montpelier, Virginia was born on July 3, 1959, in Hanover County, Virginia; he was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Ferrell and Vernell Addie Jackson.

Lenny went to Hanover County public schools, during his life he worked at various excavating companies as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Landscaper for over 45 years. During his leisure time he enjoyed waking up early to go hunting, gardening, and fishing.

He is survived by his one daughter Morgan Ferrell; two sons Brandon Ferrell and Joshua Ferrell; one grandchild Kionte Ferrell; one brother Robert Ferrell (Millicent); four sisters Vera Ferrell, Yvette Thomas (Sherman), Amanda Ferrell, Melissa Ferrell; devoted companion Edna Houchens; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
