Obituary

Marian Inez Morrow entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 15, 2014 with her devoted husband at her side. Marian was born on February 25, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Estelle M. and William Jackson Sr. She joined Mt. Sinai Baptist Church at the age of 13. Marian graduated from King William High School and attended Virginia Union University. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Donald Morrow in March 1974. She joined Oak Grove Baptist Church in 1982. Marian loved spending time with her family; she was an avid bear collector and had a vast collection of unique bears. Her family and friends loved her extra sweet Kool-Aid and string beans. Marian's humble spirit and unconditional love for her family will be greatly missed, but forever treasured. She was employed by Virginia ABC Board, Time Warner and Richmond Times Dispatch. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Donald R. Morrow; loving son Daniel R. Morrow; devoted granddaughter Paris O. Morrow; godchild (niece) Tianya Jackson. She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Charles and Marian Morrow. She has three sisters Hilda Jackson of Aylett, VA; Annette Turner of Richmond, VA; and June (David) Winston of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, William (Gladys) Jackson Jr. of Aylett, VA; Owen (Tracey) Jackson of Richmond, VA; and Sammy (Carol) Jackson of Richmond, VA. Sister-in-laws, Jean (James) Temple of Hanover, VA; Gloria Hawkins of Richmond, VA; Carolyn Vessels of Aylett, VA; and Edith Morrow of Manquin, VA. Nieces and Nephews: Jill Anderson, Janella Temple, Lorraine Harris, Jennifer Temple, Sirron Vessels, Christopher Jackson, Johnella Morrow, Shelby Vessels, Delbert Turner III, William Jackson III, Justin Jackson, Jordan Jackson (three preceded her in death: Anthony Morrow, Shandle Carter, Jhamal Hawkins). Great nieces and nephews: Chelsy Harris, Jovia Temple, Janay Temple, Jayvon Temple, Joshua Harris, Austin Anderson, Xavier Turner, Hali Harris, Soul & Aura Vessels, "adopted" Shamyra Wilkerson and one great, great nephew Jhalil Temple; a host of other relatives and friends, one devoted friend Wanda Broaddus. A devoted care-giver Jolanda Jones and "adopted" grandchildren Jaylen Pha and Jaleigha Jones.
