Martha Cary Harris' Obituary
Martha R. Cary Harris of Ruther Glen, departed this life August 29, 2017. She is survived by her devoted husband Curtis Harris, Sr., eight children, Roberta Watts (Nathaniel), Melody Coleman (Butch), Rev. Curtis Harris, Jr.(Jerri), Diane and Angela Harris, Amy Gaines (Arthur), Corey Harris (Benita) and Lorenzo Harris, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Ida Cheatham and Eloise Johnson, brother, Lawrence Cary (Cecelia) , sisters-in-law, Virginia Gregory, Carrie and Patricia Cary and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy., where viewing will be held, Saturday, September 2, from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM and where the family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held, Monday September 4, 12:00 PM at the First Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 18014 Dawn Blvd. Hanover Co.
