Maude Lillian Paige departed her life on July 72,2014 at her home and quietly went home to be with the Lord. She was affectionately known as "Mama Lillian." She was born in Caroline County, March 18, 1910, to the late Samuel and Zelma Johnson. Lillian accepted Christ at an early age and joined the 2nd Mt. Zion Baptist Church and later joined St. Luke Baptist Church. She was inducted into the Diamond Society of St. Luke Baptist Church at the age of 100. Lillian was preceded in death by twelve siblings. She was united in marriage to the late Theodore Nicholas Paige. From this union two children were born, Charles who preceded her in death, and Elizabeth. She is survived by her truly devoted daughter, Elizabeth, four grandchildren, Leroy Moore, who preceded her in death, Constance, Sharon and Arnold Moore. Three great grandchildren, David and Kenneth Gwathney, and Nicole Moore. One great great grandchild, Ja Quan Moore and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
