Melvin Spencer Temple, Jr. known to all who loved him as BeaBea entered eternal rest on Saturday February 8th, 2025. He was born in Richmond, Virginia to Melvin Spencer Temple, Sr (deceased) and Brenda Lee Temple.
He graduated from King William High School in 2001. His life was a testament of his strong faith, beginning with his early membership at Oak Grove Baptist Church. As an adult he moved his membership to Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member serving on several ministries, to include Safety and Security, Men and Kind. He worked for many years at several companies, including NEFCO, Southeastern and Dominion Freight.
Beyond his faith and career, he was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in cheering on his Tennessee Titan. He played on several travel softball teams until his health failed. He also enjoyed creating culinary delights for his family and friends. Melvin's infectious laughter and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. He was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. His love for his children and their fur baby was undeniable. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Spencer Temple, Sr.; grandparents Orgie Ree and Amos Temple, Mary and William Carter, Sr.; Great Grandparents Robert and Elizabeth Temple; Four aunts Melody T Moore, Mable C Washington, Monica L. Temple, Linda Young; Two Uncles William Carter, Jr. and Frankie Carter.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted and loving daughter Malasia S. Temple and devoted and loving son Messiah S. Temple. His fur baby Diamond. He also leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted mother Brenda L Temple. One devoted sister Niquetra Temple and one devoted brother Cameron S (Jasmine) Temple. One devoted niece Ashanti N Ellis one devoted nephew Asher J Temple. One devoted aunt Melissa Jackson. Four uncles Mervin S (Janet) Temple Sr., Matthew S Temple, Thomas E Moore, Jr., Lorenzo G Washington. Fourteen first cousins who were more like brothers and sisters. Mallory L (Dream) Washington, Kendra Y Washington, Dupree M (Reaven) Jackson, Alicia Trice, Marcus D (Ashley) Temple, Ebony (Daryl) Carey, Samone Temple (Daryl Powell), Kawanda S (Chance) Claggette, Devonte T (Amber) Temple, Sade B Temple, KaShea S Temple, Mervin S Temple Jr, Mitchell S Temple, KaDedra S Temple. The mother of his children Dakota Temple.
Devoted family and friends, Alto Wills, Tara Temple, Bobby Bullocks, Roderick Morris, DeRon Meekins, Timothy Taylor, Deacon Doug Herbert, Deanna Anderson, Peggy Jackson, Keisha Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends.
