Neal was born in Washington, DC to William Conrad Reid and Yvonne Coker Reid. He graduated from Gonzaga College High School in DC, received his Bachelor's Degree from VCU and finally his JD from The University of Richmond Law School. His law career was centered in Richmond and the surrounding areas. He opened his own business in 1998, The Law Offices of Neal O. Reid, PC. where he continued to serve clients until his death. He is survived by his son, Evan Reid, longtime partner, Denell Gegenheimer, half brothers Dr. William Conrad Reid, Jr. (Monica) Norman Reid and half sister Renee Reid. He is also survived by many friends and extended family members.
