Ophelia Ednora Lewis was born December 9, 1928 in Hanover County to the late Stewart and Marie Johnson.  She departed this life on October 27, 2021 at her home.  She received her education in the Hanover County Public School System.  She was married to the late James E. Lewis, Sr.  Together they had two sons, James E. Lewis, Jr. and Stewart A. Lewis.

Ophelia leaves to cherish her memories, her two sons; one grandson, Dwayne O. Wyatt; stepson, Linwood Greene (Faye) and many cousins and close friends.
