Obituary

Quetta Hunter Jackson entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2015 at the Bowling Green Nursing & Rehab in Bowling Green, Virginia. She was born on December 26 1925 to the late Robert and Susie Hunter of Caroline County. She was married to the Late Elmo Junius Jackson. Son, Elmore David Jackson and daughter Doris Jackson Evans who also preceded her in death. There were five siblings that preceded in death. Arlene,Matthew, Phillip, Eddie Hunter and Georgia H. Chandler. Quetta was educated in the Caroline Public schools, She accepted Christ at the early age and became a member of Second Mount Zion Baptist Church, Dawn, VA.She was employer at the Veneer Plant, Fredericksberg, Virginia for a number of years. She had a sweet humble spirit always greeting people with soft spoken words and a smile. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Always giving him the praise for all that he had done and still doing in her life. Always telling others about the Love of God. Throughout her life she loved to sew, making different type of clothing. She loved making her favorite Banana Pudding. Quetta loved her family and leaves to Cherish her precious memory a son John H. Jackson (Clara); Four grandsons, Charles E. Evans, Jr. of R i c h mond Virginia, Jason L Evans, SR (Endrea) of Woodbridge, Virginia. Johnathan Jackson (Deborah); and Corey Jackson of Ruther Glen, Virginia. Five great-grandchildrens; Janelle, Jason Jr. Jaden, Jayla and Joshua Jackson. One sister, Lucille Hunter of Alexandria, Virginia,. Two brother-laws; Monroe Jackson (Gatilee) and Howard Smith. Host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. God is on my side For the blood has been applied Every need shall be supplied And nothing shall be denied So I enter into rest And I know that I am blessed. I have passed the test And will get God's best .
