Cynthia L. Hall received her heavenly wings on Sunday, December 20, 2020 surrounded by her sisters and family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur C. and Virginia A. Hall; sons, Antoin J. and Derrik L. Hall and brother Larry C. Hall.

Cynthia graduated from Caroline County High School.  She studied at Infinity Bible Seminary.  She received her degree in ministry at Evan Smith Theological Seminary, after which she became an Associate Minister at the Greater Nazarene Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Earl B. Hall, Sr.   She served as the head of the women's and grief ministry.  Cynthia was a member of the Saints and Praise choir at her church.  Cynthia also worked for Hanover County for many years.

Cynthia had an infectious smile that would light up a room.  She loved spending time with her sisters and her grandsons.  Cynthia always had a word of encouragement for anyone in her presence.  Often times, Cynthia would sit quietly in a corner, but her laughter would fill the room.  Jonathan, Kim and Terrance were her son's friends and they were so inspired by her that they affectionately called her mother.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn three faithful sisters, Cheryl Capehart (David), Carolyn Alston (Gary), Lynette Davis and brother Joseph Tyler; devoted nephews, Larry T. Braxton and Karlton D. Davis; four grandchildren Kamari, DeShawn, Connor and Amiyah; two uncles, seven aunts and a host of cousins; devoted friends, Amy Wilkerson, Gale Brooks and Toni Burruss.

Special thanks to Robin Highsmith, Marlene Hall and Martha Anderson for supporting Cynthia during her transition.

Cynthia loved her church and had a strong faith in God.  During her illness, one could always find her praising God amidst her pain.
