Ricardo Mccarthy's Obituary
Ricardo "Rick" McCarthy was born February 23, 1953 and departed this life, October 13, 2017. He spent most of his life proudly serving Ashland and its surrounding communities as the owner and President of H W Dabney Funeral Home. Rick touched hundreds of families over the years and supported them through the most challenging time in their lives. He was an extremely generous man and provided the community with much more than just funeral service. In times of need he often provided families with guidance, moral support, financial assistance and sometimes a much needed laugh. Rick is survived by his son Greg Morris (Leah), two grandsons, William and Ryan Morris, a host of extended family and numerous devoted and loving friends, neighbors, fraternity brothers and colleagues. Viewing will be held Friday, October 20, 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA also where funeral services
