Robert Louis Gregory, Sr., affectionately known as "Bean" departed this life on June 19, 2024. Robert was born September 1, 1950 to Adell (Baylor) Pleasants and Eddie Gregory.

Robert graduated from Dawn School in 1970. Robert worked at Mayflower until his retirement in 2012. Robert moved to Richmond, VA and resided there until his death. Robert loved hanging out with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Jean (Long) Gregory, his parents and his beloved sister, Linda Flanagan, whom he loved dearly, as well as his brothers, James Gregory and Joseph Pleasants, Jr.

Robert enjoyed listening to music and his favorite football team was the Washington Commanders, formerly Washington Redskins.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Robert Gregory, Jr. and Eddie Gregory, his devoted sister, Evelyn Gregory, nieces and nephews, Jessica Braxton, Joshua Braxton, Lance Braxton, Latoya Braxton, Latrice Robinson (Canaan), Brittanie Pleasants Phillips (Jamar), Kevin Foster, a devoted great niece, Keosha James and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
