Rosetta Paige Fells was born November 15, 1931 to the late Janie Terry Paige and Willie Paige. On Sunday, April 4, 2021, she quietly slipped away into God's arms at Memorial Regional Hospital.

Rosetta accepted Christ at an early age and joined Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member until her health began to fail. She was a member of the Little Light Society.

Rosetta was educated in Caroline County School System and graduated from Union High School in 1948. In 1949 she married the love of her life  Leonard Fells, Sr. and from this union one son was born Leonard A. Fells, Jr. (deceased).

She was employed by Hanover Learning Center for 33 years in which she retired on December 1, 2003.

Rosetta was a loving, kind, strong independent, matriarch of the family. She loved to play pranks on the family. She loved cooking and was known for her 3-layer coconut cakes and potato salad.

Rosetta was also preceded in death by her siblings Thomas Paige, Emma P. Johnson, and Gertrude P. Mines.

She leaves to cherish her memories one loving sister Joyce Whitson (Ricardo); two devoted nieces Anita Hill (Craig) and Tiana Johnson; two devoted nephews Kyle Johnson (Yvette), and Orlando Mines (Elizabeth); a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; devoted friends Addie Green and Elizabeth Stevens; she loved her great great niece Journie Johnson and great great nephew Nasir Meekins (Lil Bit).
