Samuel Matthew Waddy departed this life Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  He was born July 28, 1960 in Glen Allen, VA to the late Robert and Maple Waddy.

He was educated in Henrico County Public Schools.

He was employed with Walker and Frick Construction Company.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Kirk (James) and Brenda Johnson and one brother, Gilbert Waddy.  He leaves to cherish his loving memory, three daughters, Shannon Cousins, Samantha Cousins and Eriel Waddy; four grandchildren, Samar and Rashaad Cousins and Lamar and Sa'mia Thornton; four sisters, Nancy Turner (Linwood), Lavinia, Juanita, and Lorene Waddy; four brothers, Robert, Warren, Lawrence (Shirley), and Stewart Waddy, and Larry Cousins (Sandra) and a host of other relatives and friends, including devoted friends, Pastor Jermaine Taylor, Cynthia Cousins and former wife, Tammy Waddy.
